Your hand curled around my open hip is almost maternal,
Gentle,
As you pull me closer
And my hips circle yours
Sex aside, we love each other like our mothers couldn’t love us
But the bodies of unloved daughters
Are minefields
Or at least mine is
A marketplace of scars,
